Super-Fly Comic of the Week April 4

Gather ’round Fly-Hards, it’s time to reveal this week’s Super-Fly Comic of the Week! This week was a little light in the quantity of comics, but there were a few strong contenders, whether it be an insanely good use of panel layout in Moon Knight #2, the beautiful relationship at the core of Trillium #8, or the totally depraved entertainment in Grindhouse #7. Each of those had excellent elements and could have been this week’s pick, but unfortunately, there can be only one and this week it is: Detective Comics #30

Francis Manapul (Flash, Witchblade) and Brian Buccellato (Flash, Hellblazer) have decided to trade The Fastest Man Alive and Coast City for The World’s Greatest Detective and Gotham!  The same team that launched The Flash with the New 52 are moving over to Detective and starting a brand new story line.  This issue is just beautiful to look at, keeping the same dynamism that made Flash such a fun comic, but once again tweaked to fit The Dark Knight and his skill set.  This issue may be a little simple, but sometimes those are the best stories.

Just a reminder that tickets are still available for An Evening with Kevin Eastman. Details can be found by clicking HERE
