Super-Fly Comic of the Week March 28

Well, Fly-Hards it’s that time of the week again, time to reveal the Super-Fly Comic of the Week! This was an exceptionally strong week for comics with titles like The Midas Flesh, The Wake, The Bunker, Deadly Class, Manhattan Projects, and Superior Spider-Man all hitting the shelves. Unfortunately for all of those issues, they had to compete with a very hyped up book that actually lived up to the hype. That comic is: Silver Surfer #1!

Dan Slott (Spider-Man, She-Hulk) and Michael Allred (iZombie, MadMan) team up to bring us the “Raddest” part of Marvel’s universe, a new Silver Surfer ongoing!  I know this comic says Silver Surfer on the cover, but don’t let that fool you, this is Slott’s version of Dr. Who.  No really, Slott is a “Big Time” (that one’s for you Spidey fans) Whovian and has always wanted to tell a Dr. Who story and jumped at the chance to tell his here in the pages of Silver Surfer.  This issue was a joy to read and a joy to look at, with Allred absolutely killing it with larger than life and impossible spacescapes, with a particular two page spread you won’t believe.

Just a reminder that tickets are still available for An Evening with Kevin Eastman. Details can be found by clicking HERE
